This map of the Ancient Orient was published in 1960 by Denoyer-Geppert as part of the Social Science Maps. The bright colors indicate very fertile areas, oasis and cultivable areas, deserts, and waste areas. Other indications show land routes, sea routes, and products (gold). This map includes 2 inset maps of: Palestine – about 860 B.C. to 800 B.C., and of Jerusalem. It is hung on wooden dowels and is in very good condition with some waving of the paper and small cracks and paper loss at top in border area. Additional pictures available.
