E. V. Monin made this 1822 edition of the “Atlas Universel de Geographie Ancienne & Moderne en 42 Cartes” in Paris. Bright colors highlight regions on these small, but detailed maps. This hand colored, French map illustrates the empire of Charlemagne. The names of regions, important cities, mountain ranges, lakes and rivers are identified. These old maps are in very good condition with unique outline coloring.
