Macedonia, Thracia, Illyria, Moesia et Dacia (ASIA MINOR)

Alexander G. Findlay (1812-1875) included this skillfully constructed map titled Macedonia, Thracia, Illyria, Moesia et Dacia in his Classical Atlas to illustrate ancient geography. Findlay was a geographer and publisher who comprised these maps to show the various divisions of the world as known to the ancients. This atlas features smaller sized format maps with original hand coloring. Among other details, this classic map of the region of Asia Minor shows topography, rivers, cities, and major landmarks. Each one would make a superb gift and because of their small size, are easy to frame.
