East Passaic, Saddle River Township; Saddle River Township (New Jersey)

We are proud to offer for the first time this map of East Passaic and Saddle River Township (present day Saddle Brook), Bergen County, New Jersey from A.H. Walkers very rare “Atlas of Bergen County New Jersey. 1776-1876.” The township was created in March 1716, making it one of the oldest townships in Bergen County. Saddle River Township was in existence from 1716- 1955, before it was split and dissolved into other boroughs and townships. This detailed map shows landowners by name, important buildings, and railroads. Walker’s atlas appears to be his only cartographic production.
