Moriz Jung (1885-1915) was an Austrian artist known for his work with the Wiener Werkstätte, a Viennese production association where Jung produced postcards. Jung began creating thee postcards while he was still a student, in 1907. “Jung’s series on flight, printed in 1911, is among his most memorable. The six satirical prints poke fun at early aviation” (Theresa Ketterer, The Metropolitan Museum of Art).
