This set of large hand-colored, steel engravings was published in the “Atlas Universel” by H. Dufour in 1864. France is illustrated with inset maps of Nantes, Rouen, Bordeaux and Paris. Beautiful pastel coloring distinguishes regions. The names of regions, and important cities, rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, major roads, and railroad lines are given. Each map measures 21.75 x 29 each.
