This map of the West Indies was made in 1815 for Thomson’s New General Atlas printed in 1817. Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are illustrated on the top half of the page and the lower map shows Haiti and Santo Domingo (Hispaniola). Rivers, mountains, and important cities are identified.
