From a photograph that used to hang in the Hang Out Bar in Great Falls, Montana. Handwritten identifications indicate a number of well-known personalities sat for thephotograph: Wyatt and Morgan Earp, Doc Holliday, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Judge Roy Bean, Bat Masterson, and Liver Eating” Johnston among them. Thedescription also states the photo was taken at Hunters Hot Springs, Montana, in 1883. However, there is much evidence that the men in the photograph are not the famousfigures they are purported to be. So it seems that this may simply be a mock photo, possibly staged and taken by the Northern Pacific Railroad Crew, who are listedamong the supposedly famous figures.”
