This hand colored, steel engraved map is from Blacks General Atlas printed in 1841. India is illustrated on this beautiful map. Details include the names of provinces and important cities, mountain ranges, lakes and rivers, deserts, and major roads. Regions are distinguished by pink, green, and yellow outline color. The impression of the press used to engrave the map is still evident.
