Double page hemisphere map made Paris in 1842 by French cartographer Ambroise Tardieu. Hand outline coloring, fine detailing of place names and topographical features. Continents, countries, the Great desert, Chinese Empire and many islands are noted. Folded in the center as issued. No Antarctica illustrated at this time in map making.
