As successors to the dynasty established by Thomson, this mapmaker gained fame as the publisher of handsome and well- detailed copper engraved maps. They boast the latest information available for the time, and have an attractive and almost dramatic sense of presentation. These are outstanding early 19th century maps in good condition.
