Atlantic & Pacific Junction – Topographical Map of a portion of the Isthmus of Darien in site of Proposed Inter-Oceanic Navigation – August, 1852
In stock
This 1852 map shows the proposed site of a canal to connect the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This proposal has the canal roughly following the Savannah, Lara, and Calidonia Rivers. A very interesting map, as this is not where the canal was ultimately built. Sold folded as issued.
