Southern Part of Russia in Europe

This is a rare depiction of this portion of Russia, with subtle hand coloring distinguishing each state. Here we see Russia, starting in Moscow, and spreading down to the Caspian and Black Seas. Wonderful detail affords us many place names of settlements and small towns. Also notable is a large tract of land taken to be Russian, simply titled, “Wrested From Poland”. A nice map of the time, of an often overlooked area. This is from a rare set of maps that we haven”t seen in the last 20 years and makes this a uncommon opportunity. Condition good
