Vintage Antique Louisiana
Art Source International has amassed a collection of authentic antique maps and images brilliantly highlighting and detailing the state of Louisiana, which borders Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and the Gulf of Mexico. New Orleans, which is the largest city in the state, is famous for its French Quarter, Mardi Gras festival, the St. Louis Cathedral, and the National WWII Museum. Much of the state’s lands were formed from sediment that washed down the Mississippi River, creating many coastal marshes and swamps. The state became a part of the United States with the Louisiana purchase in 1803, and became the eighteenth official state on April 30, 1812. Art Source International reproductions and vintage maps can be ordered framed or without a frame.
