Andre Lippard is a Colorado artist that features numerous iconic Denver locations such as the Gothic Theatre, Bluebird Theater, and Larimer Lounge. Other locations include Sloan’s Lake and the Brown Palace Hotel. “I have studied art my entire life.” As a fourth generation Colorado native Andre Lippard has had the very great honor of living and growing in this beautiful state, surrounded by not only geographical beauty, but deep cultural excellence.

“Denver has been such a wealth of inspiration and is commonly the subject of my work.”  Lippard’s oil paintings often reflect some of this city’s great landmarks of music and architecture.  “Sometimes my work investigates the landscapes that surround my being, both literally and figuratively.  Other times my paintings convey only that which resides with the depths of my imagination.”

Stylistically Lippard has chosen a variety of approaches.  “Generally, I describe my style as a fusion of cubism and surrealism, however I often express my visions with a very Japanese aesthetic in landscape and abstract work.”
