This map of the Chili La Plata and Uruguay with an inset map of the south part of Patagonia was published by Thomas, Cowperthwait and Co., in 1854. Original hand coloring in muted pastels, and a signature Cowperthwait border in sage and pink highlights this map nicely. Countries, capitals of states, cities, towns, rail roads, and topographical features are illustrated.
