This black and white engraving was issued as part of the “Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Minnesota,” published in 1874 by A. T. Andreas, Chicago, Illinois. This image captures the romantic history of many important homes, businesses, farms and landmarks in 1874 Minnesota. The portraits of military men are shown, including: Major M. Cook, Gen. L.F. Hubbard, Major Geo. H. Camp, Gen. Israel Garrard, Col. T.J. Sheehan, Col. Jas. George, Col. William Colvill, and Gen. John B. Sanborn. Also included are portraits of Clergymen, including: Rev. Eric Norelius, Rt. Rev. H.B. Whipple, Rev. D.C. John, Rev. David S. Kiehle, and Rev. Gideon H. Pond.
