This map was produced for the “Monarch Standard Atlas” , by J. Martin Miller in 1905. Asia is illustrated on this map. Countries are distinguished by color. Other details include the names of countries, regions, and important cities, rivers, mountain ranges, and lakes, main railroads, and roads, and sea routes. Principal divisions of the realm, and their area and population are listed. The atlas states that it offers “complete, original and authentic maps of the present developement of all the countries, empires and states of the world comprising a graphic description of the people: their civilization, their religion, their government, their cities, their important exports, their wealth, their railways, their canals, their cables, their telegraphs, ect., including a description of their climate, the productions, the rivers, the valleys, the lakes, the mountains, the minerals, the glaciers, and every other subject of interest to the american people.”
