Brazil

This hand colored map was made by Adam and Charles Black for “Blacks General Atlas” published in 1841. Brazil is illustrated on this map. Regions are distinguished by green, blue, pink, and yellow outline coloring – very well maintained for its age. Other details include the names of regions and many cities, and illustrations of mountains, rivers, and lakes. The impression of the steel plate used to engrave the map is still evident.
