This hand colored map is from the “Atlas de Geographie”, made by Felix Delamarche in Paris, 1856. Two illustrations of Italy are shown on this well maintained French map. The left map has an inset showing possesions of the country at a different time. Pastel colors were used to distinguish regions. Other details include identification (in French) of regions, important cities, rivers, lakes, and mountain ranges.
