We are proud to offer for the first time this historic map of Allendale, Hohokus Township, Oakland, Franklin Township, Saddle River Valley, Washington and Hohokus Townships, Bergen County, New Jersey from A.H. Walkers very rare “Atlas of Bergen County New Jersey. 1776-1876.” It is important to note that both Hohokus and Franklin Townships have been split and dissolved into other boroughs and townships (Hohokus Township existed from 1849-1944/ Franklin Township existed from 1771-1926). This detailed map shows landowners by name, important buildings, and railroads. Walker’s atlas appears to be his only cartographic production.
