A great little fold out travel map thats perfect for a Colorado vacationer. Published by the Clason Map Company, mostly likely circa 1920, this brochure is packed with information for the on the road traveler that contains two maps along with plenty of tips and a few places to stay and visit while in the area. There is a short paragraph on Grand Lake Lodge, Placer Inn, The Stanley Hotel, and Estes Park Chalets. There is also a small map of Roads to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, and Estes Park for a circle tour. The first main map in this brochure is a road map of Colorado which roads, paved and all weather, highways (shown in red), and approximate mileage. The second, larger, inside map is a guide map of Denver showing street names, parks, lakes, town districts, golf courses, and a street index on the left margin. (An inset map of the streets around the bus terminal is on the right corner, shown in a larger scale than the rest of the map.) This is a great little travel map, and is still relevant today, with the same structures, hotels, parks, and streets, although the hotel and parking rates listed are probably no longer valid. (*Note – the picture shown is of the front and back of the unfolded pamphlet; the inside, larger Denver map, and next to it the opposite side of the smaller Colorado map and other information.)’
