The Arctic Regions Strategic Planning Chart

This unique coastal survey of the Arctic Regions was created by the Hydrographic Office of the US Navy in 1949. It shows the Arctic as well ad the Sub-Arctic Region, and has a legend that includes keys for routes of expeditions with drifting ice, boundaries, sea ice limits, land ice, weather stations, airfields, general distribution of major mineral resources, and the position of poles.
