The shaded portions on this map “represent selections filed on since opening of land Office April 1st, 1899 to June 30th, 1901”. This map not only features the Creek Nation but also the Seminole Nation, Choctaw Nation, a small part of the Chickasaw Nation, Oklahoma Cherokee Nation, and the Cherokee Nation. Also featured on the map are many man-made buildings and small towns along with an abundance of rivers and other natural made features in the area.
