Constellations of Northern Hemisphere (January through March)
In stock
Our popular conception of the Roman Astrological signs is due largely to the repeated use of those images in the art of celestial mapping. These old maps of constellations are rare and unique as they were subject to the artists interpretation of the images. This beautiful, exceptionally detailed example was made in 1835 by E.H. Burritt with pastel hand coloring and bold identification of constellations and orbits.
