This hand colored map of Germany was made for Thomson’s “New General Atlas” in 1827. Regions are distinguished by remarkably well-maintained outline, pastel color. Details include Prussian territories, kingdoms, cities, and topography. Note on map: The cities of Lubeck, Frankfort, Bremen and Hamburg are Free Cities and Coloured_Vermilion. Those parts uncoulored are not yet settled.
