Globular Projection

This very unique map by George F. Cram Company. There are several globular projections of different hemispheres and views. The main map shows the Eastern hemisphereof Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia with three rings, corresponding to temperature zones, the Zodiac, and the outer ring shows the months of the year in comparison with the Zodiac. The main map shows wind stream lines in the ocean and distance lines in miles from and to major cities in the eastern hemisphere. There are four hemisphere globular projections of the southern, northern, land, and water hemispheres. Two small diagrams of the mountains(elevations in feet) and rivers (length in miles). The date of published is not printed, but there is a stamp from Nov 23, 1938, that may correspond to its printed or close to that date.
