This German map of the Northern part Great Britain with inset maps of Central Scotland, Edinburgh, and the Orkney and Shetland Islands was made in 1909 by Adolf Stieler for Stieler’s Atlas of Modern Geography. Regions are distinguished by very fine machine coloring. The map is very detailed, showing major topographical features, and place names.
