Mappe-Monde ou Description du Globe Terrestre
In stock
Here we see a quaint and well-formed world that clearly depicts the substance of the continents, and includes the latest discoveries. Outline color distinguishes each continent, which is amazingly accurate. Recent discoveries can be seen in the multitude of new islands labeled in the Pacific, including the Sandwich Islands. Developments are also seen in Australia (here “Nouvelle Hollande”), as the continent has assumed better proportions and is no longer shown attached to Tasmania or New Guinea. Both Poles remain a great mystery, and are left without speculation. Condition is very good.
