These rare and historically important maps have light pastel hand coloring on well aged paper. Each map has abundant details, including relevant locations and illustrations representing ships and armies distinguished by color. The title of the map includes an explanation of the area shown the date of the significant event depicted. This map is titled “Plan of the Country from Frogs Point to Croton River Shewing the Positions of the American & British Armies from the 12th of Oct.1776 until the Engagement on the White Plains on the 28th”. Places where important battles took place and British camps are identified by color.
