This map was produced for the “Monarch Standard Atlas” , by J. Martin Miller in 1905. Puerto Rico is illustrated on this map. An inset is included of Culebra and Vieques Islands at the same scale as the main map. Main sea routes are identified. Other details include the names of important cities, mountains, lakes, rivers and railroads. The atlas states that it offers “complete, original and authentic maps of the present developement of all the countries, empires and states of the world comprising a graphic description of the people: their civilization, their religion, their government, their cities, their important exports, their wealth, their railways, their canals, their cables, their telegraphs, ect., including a description of their climate, the productions, the rivers, the valleys, the lakes, the mountains, the minerals, the glaciers, and every other subject of interest to the american people.”
