West India Islands – Tobago, Trinidad, Curacao, Grenada

This hand colored map was made in 1817 by Thomson for his “New General Atlas”. Four islands of the West Indies are illustrated on this map. The names of islands, regions, important cities, some topography, and major roads are shown. The majority of the maps are in black and white with outlines in bright color. An inset on the map of Curacao shows Ft. Amsterdam.
