Wheelers Triangulation of parts of Colorado and New Mexico’

As the Wheeler survey was exploring the Western territories, they set up triangulation stations from which they could produce a web-like structure of measurements which would allow them to accurately map the region. This map shows us the major stations from Grays Peak in Colorado south to Taylor Peak in New Mexico. Condition is very good.
