The Geological Survey is making a geologic atlas of the United States, which is being issued in parts, called Folio’s. Each folio includes topographic and geologic maps of a certain area, together with a descriptive text.”Published by the United States Geological Survey in Washington. These folios include a great deal of information regarding the topographic and geologic structure of the cites and towns that are listed. This special folio for Tintic, Utah was published in 1900. Maps in this folio are: Topographic sheet, Historical Geology, and Structure Section. Also included are Topographic, Economic Geology, and Structure Section for Tintic Mining Maps, all with the northern and southern sections on separate sheets. This atlas is in good condition with little tearing, and is held together nicely in its original paper cover.”
