This pamphlet was prepared by the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service. Printed around 1927, it details the rules and regulations of Sequoia and General Grant National Parks, the season from May 15th to October 1, and at any time for motorists carrying own equipment. This book gives a brief history of the parks, what to do, accommodations, how to reach the parks, travel information, trails, meadows and groves, wild life, museum information, rates, and much more. There are 5 black and white illustrated maps: 1- showing national parks in CA, with principal connecting highways, 2- showing railroads tributary to national parks in CA, 3- fold out map of Giant Forest, 4- map of Sequoia and General Grant National Parks, 5- fold-out (some color) map showing location of principal trees in General Grant National Park. There are also 4 black and white prints of various areas of the park. The book is in good condition with normal wear & tear. It does have pencil markings on the front cover.
