The Scallawagiana Hundred

This reference book is a compilation of the hundred most important books about the Mormons and Utah. Compiled by Kent L. Walgren and published in 1982, this is on the the 550 copies printed. The book is broken down into four general periods: 1) the genesis of Mormonism: through 1844; 2) Hegira, exploration and early settlement of Utah: 1845-59; 3) Resistance and polygamy: 1860-90; 4) Assimilation and scholarly exegesis of the Mormon experience: 1890-present. The author notes this is only a start and there are many other great books on this subject. This book is in very good condition with minimal wear and tear and the cover remains intact.
