Erected 1859, Destroyed June 1897.” The Boulder House was Boulder’s earliest hotel, first established as a log building in 1859, which was converted to a kitchen when a two-story frame addition was built in the early 1860’s. The hotel was demolished in 1897 and replaced by the Buckingham Block. “
