Photo taken by J.B Sturtevant, this photo shows a grocery store located on 14th Street between Pearl & Spruce. This block was called the Pearl Block. The Pearl Block was built in 1874. By 1892, Harman V. Houk had purchased the building, changed its name to the Houk Block, and installed his business, the Mountain Supply House.
