The grocery store at 925 Arapahoe Avenue with an addition on the east side which housed the West Boulder Meat Market at 927 Arapahoe. Two men in butcher’s aprons are posed in doorway; one man is probably James B. Tanner who operated a meat market and grocery at 925 Arapahoe and lived upstairs from about 1900-1905. While Tanner still owned the business the name was changed to South Side Groceries. Edward Autrey built and ran the store, ca. 1894. By 1898 J. B. Tanner owned it. An addition was added to the east and a new facade was put on the original building, ca. 1904.
