Many PWA improvements and structures are showcased on the map, which show the modernization of our cities and towns, conserved and developed resources, refurbished the school systems, improved public health, advanced rec. facilities, and overall, helped to equip our nation with the resources to make the U.S. stronger and better equipped for all people. This map was prepared by the Division of Information Federal Public Works Administration. This map was published during the run-up to President Roosevelt’s unprecedented third term. There is no date listed on this map but it is said to have been published in 1939.
