Someone Talked! Poster. This poster was designed by Frederick Siebel and printed by the Devoe & Reynolds Painting Company; there is no date listed but it is known to have been dated from 1942. Though this poster is subtle in its hint, this is a WWII propaganda poster–in WWII there was a lot fear in American Society over spies and moles gaining American intelligence. This poster then, is designed to warn of the dangers of any leaking, purposeful or accidental, of the American Military’s plans and operations. The goal of this poster, is to scare American Citizens into remaining silent.
