This vintage ski illustration by artist Arthur Crouch was done for the cover of Collier’s The National Weekly, January 13, 1934. Founded in 1888, the American magazine became known for it’s investigative journalism and established a reputation as a proponent of social reform. Although it ended it’s run in 1957, it was revived in February 2012. Artist Crouch is a popular magazine artist, who did several works for Colliers. This fun image appears to have the woman’s skis popping off the page. This would look great framed for any ski lovers wall.
