On March 28, 1910, the first hydro-airplane took off from water in Martiques France. The first flight across the Atlantic was made in a seaplane the NC-4 Flying Boat. The flight had stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Trespassey, Newfoundland, The Azores, Lisbon, Portugal and then on to Plymouth, England….
