This stunning original John Gould bird was issued as one of the Bird’s of Great Britain”. This set of lithograph’s was produced over and 11 year period from 1862 – 1873. This was the work that Mr Gould was most proud of as an ornithologist. There were 367 separate birds pictured, many with nests, babies and natural surroundings….
