The fine floral panel border on both sides of the leaf has acanthus leaves in blue and liquid gold and identifiable flowers set on a geometric background of liquid gold.Book of Hours are personal prayer books of a devout and status-conscious society and are not only works of art, but cultural documents of the their time.
