The German maps are mostly black and white, with beautiful pastel highlighting used to distinguish borders and other remarkable features. Abundant details include the names of regions and many cities, rivers, lakes, mountains, canals, railroads, and other travel routes. China and Japan are illustrated on this map including insets of the vicinities of Shanghai, Canton and Jedo.
