China (Ostl Theil), Korea und Japan

This German map of China, Korea, and Japan was made in 1881 by Adolf Stieler for Stieler’s Hand Atlas. Regions are distinguished by beautiful hand painted outline color and the ocean is fully colored in shades of blue. Insets show the vicinities of Shang-Hi, Tokyo, and from Canton to Hong-Kong. The map is very detailed, showing major topographical features and many place names.
