This pocket map is titled, “Rand McNally War Map of the Battle Ground of Liberty.” Its described as a ‘Strategic Map of the Battle Ground in Belgium and France from London, England to the Swiss Border. Showing the farthest advance of the German Armies, September 1914, compiled from the latest military maps of the Army Staffs in Washington, London and Paris, and from other official sources. The map has very nice color and shows railroads and railroad stations, forts, wagons roads and fortified places. The back side of the map has an extremely detailed index of locations, along with pronunciations.
