Map of India and the East Indies

We are proud to offer these miniature maps by Andrew Akerman (1721-1778). He was primarily a globe maker, but did produce two recorded atlases in Uppsala, Sweden during 1768. The map offered here is from his unrecorded atlas, “Atlas Juvenilis,” also produced in 1768. We were unable to find any of his maps selling in the last 25 years, making this a rare find.
