This restricted coastal survey was made in Washington D.C. in July of 1944 by the U.S. Navy Hydrographic department. The Hussey Sound and vicinity in Casaco Bay Maine is illustrated on this map, the vessels permitted to anchor in specific areas are identified. Details include the names of important cities and towns, major buildings on the coast, railroads, depth readings, prohibited and restricted areas where appropriate, some topography lines, cable areas, and red sectors. Most recent corrections are stamped on map. Notes on map read: Warning: Aids to navigation may be altered, interrupted or removed without notice. In general, temporary changes due to war conditions are not incorporated on the chart.
